Babelify and Browserify

Compony is capable of handling cutting edge JavaScript. The Javascript in the dist folder will be browser-compatible to a version of JavaScript you can control.

Let's take an example of ES6: If you define a variable with let, instead of var, then you are writing ES6! Because not all browsers support ES6, it’s important to compile these let-definitions to ways all browsers can understand them.

The JavaScript-linter will also notify you if you are linting a version of Javascript that is too modern without having Browserify turned on (right side of image).
